About

New Zealand Dirt Track Racing Magazine is a monthly publication dedicated to reporting on all classes of speedway racing throughout New Zealand be it on 2, 3 or 4 wheels. We have the best reporters and photographers based across the country and around the world producing amazing content every month.

History

Started in 1986, NZ Dirt Track Racing magazine is the longest running motorsport magazine in the country.

Founding editor Lynda Kuriger was at the helm for the first 25 years, ensuring the magazine survived the digital revolution by introducing colour and increasing the number of pages. Jeremy Savell modernised the publication and provided stability until Oval Superstars Limited acquired the magazine in April 2017.

The magazine has changed hands in 2019 with Mirrorball Media taking over the reins. With Mirrorball Media’s experience in marketing and social media combined with a passion and love for all things speedway, it was the perfect combination to take the magazine into the future.

Circulation

With national distribution to over 500 stores, supermarkets, petrol stations and bookshops, plus subscriptions sent within NZ and around the world, the NZ Dirt Track Racing magazine team will remain at the forefront of speedway journalism for many years to come.
