A host of celebrity racers in Super Saloons at Western Springs saw BMX star Sarah Walker impress but Greg Murphy taking the win.
Trevor de Malmanche repeated the feat of father Steve to win the NZ Streetstock title, with Paddy North winning the South Island Saloons. In Auckland, the Gisborne Giants won their first major trophy, the Superstock Teams Nationals. Woodford Glen’s Battle of the Stocks was another successful meeting, with Wayne Hemi and Brett Nicholls triumphant.
