Four NZ drivers ventured to England for the 2017 Brisca F1 World Stockcar Final, and NZ Dirt Track was on the scene for the October/#376 issue. Simon Joblin, Wayne Hemi and Jordan Dare all failed to finish, with Kerry Remnant just making the chequered flag.
The Speedway NZ safety initiative that led to a large backlash was covered in some depth, as was the retirement of Hawkes Bay Hawkeyes team captain Steve Jude. Track commentators Mike Wilson and Allan Buxton were interviewed, and the national speedway calendar centrespread was a great initiative.
